Researchers at Carnegie Mellon U (Pittsburgh) have developed this project called Posey. Plastic pieces that consist of hubs and struts snap together into figures (sort of like Lego) and contain chips and sensors that broadcast wirelessly to a computer which then interprets their positions in real-time. Voila! Virtual puppets.
Everyone calls this smart Lego, but if it was smart, it would self-assemble, then promptly go on strike asking for better residuals.
