BoingBoing linked to this animated short made by Cee-Gee called CODE Guardian a very well done animation of nazis, mechs, and fighting during WWII by Marco Spitoni. It sounds like it has been in production for quite some time, made in 3D Studio Max with models from XSI Softimage?
