Oh well. You can now download (for a price) SL on their site now. Cheaper and probably faster than buying the DVD.

5. I'm not usually a big fan of musical machinima vids, but this one, "Memories of a security guard" has some definitely amusing bits. Shot in HL2, it uses the U2 song "Elevation" by Half a Beer productions (not a real company) and made by barneyvation? (uploaded by radu0).

7. The Euro Machinima Festival extends it's submission deadline. I thought having the deadline on the last long weekend of the summer was kind of silly, but now it's Sept. 7, 2007.
