A friend of mine has produced an animated pilot for MTV called "The Tomatos". It's a spoof on HBO's The Sopranos and gangster flicks in general, with fruits and vegetables playing the characters.
The 13 minute pilot is available in 4 segments on YouTube. Check them out here:
Feedback is of course very much welcome (not here, on YouTube). MTV is watching this carefully to decide if it's worth picking up.
My own opinion is they do need to work on the concept. The jokes are a little one-dimensional, but of course it is simply a pilot. I could see some very funny scenes with a psychologist/psychiatrist and the head tomato.
