Apparently this film, deviation, a machinima film about in-game character angst, was an official selection for Tropfest at the Tribeca Film Festival. Although the film was competently made, we've seen these same philosophical contemplations by in-game characters in other machinima, most notably Red vs. Blue, which, I should point out, has just finished its fourth season. I guess success breeds duplication of content if not form. Not sure why deviation was chosen, but it certainly does not break any new ground for machinima.
